Role & Responsibilities
As a Technology Trainee at GKN Aerospace, you will participate in a structured 15-month program where your primary responsibilities will include:
- Driving digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
- Conceptualizing and implementing digital solutions for aerospace processes, including manufacturing, purchasing, and quality functions.
- Working on real-time projects involving software development, testing, and deployment.
- Utilizing advanced technologies such as Data Analytics, AI, ML, Large Language Models (LLM), and Machine Vision.
- Supporting operational teams with the implementation of Strategic Initiatives and Industry 4.0 concepts.
- Gradually taking ownership of portions of larger projects under the supervision of line managers.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree (B.E. or B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or AI and Machine Learning from a reputed university.
- Technical Skills: Excellent software engineering fundamentals with strong knowledge of programming languages like Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Good understanding of Databases and SQL is also required.
- Preferred Experience: Prior exposure to creating ETL pipelines, BI dashboards, full-stack software development (Python), or AI/ML through internships, academic projects, or competitions is highly advantageous.
- Clearance: Must be eligible for ITAR/SSA clearance where relevant, and possess the right to work in India.
