Minimum Educational Qualifications & Eligibility

To apply for this prestigious internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Undergraduates (BE/BTech): Must be pursuing graduation with a minimum CGPA of 7.0 (on a scale of 10) in all previous semesters.
  • Postgraduates (ME/MTech/MSc): Must be pursuing post-graduation with at least 70% marks in the 1st Year exams.
  • Approval: Students must be enrolled in a full-time course from an AICTE/UGC approved College or University.
  • Age Limit: Candidates must be below 28 years of age (as on 31st July 2026).
  • Nationality: Must be an Indian National.

Important Note on Accommodation: No boarding or lodging expenses are admissible during the internship. The expenditure for boarding, lodging, transport, and medical must be borne by the student.

Selection Procedure

  • Selection will be based entirely on merit or through an online/offline interview or interaction as required.
  • Selected students will be intimated via email starting 31st July 2026.
  • Upon successful completion of the 6-month internship and submission of the project report, candidates will be awarded a Certificate of Completion from DRDO.
