Eligibility Criteria

  • For Graduate Apprentice: Must hold a BE/BTech/BSc/BCom/BLIS degree in the relevant discipline.
  • For Technician Apprentice: Must hold a Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline.
  • Freshers Only: Only candidates who passed their degree/diploma in 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible.
  • No Prior Experience: Candidates who already have 1 year or more of job/training experience after completing their qualification are NOT eligible.
  • NATS Registration Required: All candidates must register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS 2.0) portal at nats.education.gov.in before applying.

How to Apply for DRDO ACEM Apprenticeship 2026?

The application process is 100% online via email. No hard copies will be accepted.

  1. Register on NATS 2.0: Visit nats.education.gov.in and complete your registration. Note down your Registration/Enrollment Number.
  2. Download the Application Form: Download the official application form from the DRDO website or from the official advertisement PDF.
  3. Fill the Form: Type all details in the form (do NOT handwrite). Affix a passport-size photograph and sign it.
  4. Prepare Documents: Gather scanned copies of:
    • Filled application form
    • All marksheets / degree certificates
    • CGPA to Percentage conversion formula from your university
    • Caste certificate (if applicable — SC/ST/OBC Non-Creamy Layer)
    • Aadhar card
  5. Merge into Single PDF: Combine the application form and all supporting documents into a single PDF file.
  6. Email Your Application: Send the PDF to apprentice.acem@gov.in

Selection Process

  • Selection will be based on merit or interview, as decided by the Apprentice Selection Committee.
  • Only selected candidates will receive an offer letter.
  • Selected candidates must submit a Medical Fitness Certificate and Police Verification Certificate at the time of joining.

Important Points to Remember

  • This is a purely temporary training position. ACEM is NOT obligated to offer employment after the apprenticeship ends.
  • No accommodation, hostel, or transport will be provided by ACEM during the training period.
  • Any false information or canvassing will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • ACEM reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of seats or cancel the advertisement without assigning any reason.
